Jack Snook or "Gunny" as he is more affectionately called served 20 years active duty in the Marine Corps. He spent most as an infantryman where he deployed to Beirut Lebanon and Kuwait during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. He also served as Commander of Marine Embassy Guards in Vienna, Austria and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He served at the Pentagon with the Military Security Force for the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Snook retired from the Marine Corps and chartered a brand new Junior ROTC program in North Georgia. Gunny was raised a Roman Catholic and recommitted his life to Jesus in Nicaragua in the summer of 2013. He was baptized there in 2015. So, Nica holds a particularly special place in his heart. Jack's role in M4N is project management, logistics, and security. Jack's passion in the community is improving living conditions for those in the community. Those who join Jack in mission work will find themselves sweating: pouring concrete, roofing, building, restoring, etc.
